Mr. Awolumate Lookman is a graduate of University of Lagos where he obtained first degree in Accountancy and an M.sc in Finance. He is also an alumnus of Yaba College of Technology. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Lookman has acquired over 20 years’ experience in financial advisory/corporate finance, project finance and management, risk management, Optimal Business process and control management, Infrastructure Advisory services He started as an investment analyst with a fund management firm, before he moved on to Deinde Odunsanya and Co, a consulting firm. He also worked with Gateway Holdings Ltd, the investment company of Ogun State Government, which he joined in 2005 having served in several capacities from finance, internal control to project finance departments. He also worked with Gateway Savings and Loans where he led the compliance and risk monitoring unit until 2019 when he left to join Edgefield Group as the consulting manager. He has handled several infrastructure and business advisory services for Edgefield Development and Investment Partners Ltd, GNI & Associates (A Professional firm) and other sister companies in several landmark projects in different parts of the country including Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. He has attended several management courses, seminars and workshops in many Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance courses, Advance Corporate Finance, Corporate Valuation techniques, Financial Modelling, PPP project management, Risk based Internal Auditing, Financial Advisory and Business Management, Asset and Portfolio Management among others.
